An hint on portraits
Hi, I'm playing Baldur's Gate I on a Mac, and I've encountered an odd situation dealing with portraits. When I've created my custom portrait I've made the small one in millions of colours and the game accepted it, but when I saved a session (BG uses miniatures of portraits when saving a game) the game crashed quite often. After wandering a lot on that, I've realized that this fault was caused by the small portrait. Changing it with a 256 colours-based one caused me no more crashes. I'm wandering if this situation happens on PC as well. Hope to be helpful to someone.

Crush enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.

You're right. Verminaard was the Red Dragon Highlord in Dragonlance and his army was based in Pax Tharkas. In my humble opinion the Dragonlance saga is a real masterpiece for all ad&d players; and its written in a good style with a lot of psycological deepening.
