a question that has never been asked (i hope)

Post by -=- Nerun -=- »

this is my 30th post. by this i will get a member, a least i heard so. i asked myself: what question could i ask, that is interresting, but has never been asked before ? it wasn't that easy, but i think i've got a very tricky one:

you all remember the circus quest where you get aerie. when you kill kalah, he talks to you, and says what a poor guy he is, bla bla bla.

now THE question: why does he have a portrait (in the part of the talk, where the illusion is over) ????

i mean, all possible party members have one - ok, irenicus and bhodi have one - ok, the elven queen has one - (little) ok, but WHY this 5 sentence gnome ???

that was my question. i hope is was something like fresh wind in this ancient halls of wisdom ... Image

PS.: if i forgot a character with a pic, please refresh my mind

PPS.: i want this topic to have a little flame in front of it

I would not mind to work for Bioware but I dont.
Perhaps Quayle was to be a party member but that idea was droped or its simply a way to understand that he (under the ilusion, after that part we never see his picture again) is not a green jelly but a gnome.

I'm afraid I don't see the problem. Quayle was a potential NPC in BG1. His inability to join the party in BG2 may mean he'll show up in an expansion, or it may simply mean he's doing a "walkon" with no further plans for use. It doesn't really matter, in any case.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
