How would a kensai with single longsword, Minsc with double axe or axe and flail, keldorn with big swords, aerie, jan and jaheria be in a party. i know theree's no perfect party but ive had to start again for the 3rd time so ITS GOT TO BE PERFECT COS I'LL NEVER PLAY IT AGAIN IF IT ISNT. willing to accept experienced help.

It's OK. Maybe drop Minsc for Mazzy.

As you said, there is no perfect party - the bad guys that obviously are left out have their strenghts too, but your party should work fine.

why single long sword?

either a two handed wepon or dual wield, would give better results imo.

also watch proff. in your npc's minsk has neither axe nor flail, you would be better off with maces + work up to flail/axe - if you want axes use korgan.

i don't like the three multi's and no single (or dual) class mage

Is Jan good at magic? Because Aerie's progress in levelling up is not so fast. I mean, if I hadn't Nalia in my first time, I don't know how long should I have waited Aerie to reach a decent mage level. Not that Aerie is bad, just a multi-class elf. :-)

Cheers
