Not sure. I would open the .ini file again and make sure the "Debug" line is in there correctly and then maybe re-boot.

It should work.... :)

In the directory that you installed BG2 in there is a file called baldur.ini.

Enter the following lines to the game play section:
Debug Mode=1
Cheats=1

To access the CLUAConsole you simply hit CTR+Spacebar

Hope this helps. :)

The .ini file might be a little hard to find. You have to look at the properties of the file, and it'll say that it is an .ini file there. If you just look at it on the explorer, it'll just look like baldur

Repeat

Hi,

I've been listening to the whole mishagash conversation, and I, too, want to use the CLUA with my Mac BG2, but it hasn't worked at all.

Could I get a recap on how it really works? Cause I've done the Debug=1 and the Cheat=1 below the Game Options and the Program Options both. And the Ctrl Space only pauses the game. I got nothing.

Any help would be dope.

Tanks,

TF

Make sure you type the command exactly as follows (I'll use arrows as an example):

CLUAConsole:CreateItem("AROW01",40)

The next time you open the command box, the last command you entered will still be there, so you can use the Backspace key to edit the previous command and save a few keystrokes. You can even use cut-copy-paste functions if you like. (For example, you could copy the line I wrote above and paste it inside the command box.)

I hope this helps.

Instead of Debug=1, try:

DebugMode=1
-or-
Debug Mode=1

I can't remember which one is correct. I hope this helps.

still nuthin

I've tried the DebugMode=1 and the Debug Mode=1 and it's still giving me nothing. Right now, I've got both the Debug line and the Cheat line under both the Game Options and the Program Options simultaneously. Would that mess it up, you think? Should I just reinstall or something?

Thanks,

TF
