Where are all the MP roleplayers?

Post by Valyissiun »

Like many others, I just had to reinstall BG after watching 'The Fellowship of the Ring'. And after doing so made my way onto MPlayer, only to find it a rabble-ridden, power gaming server that reeked the foulest of cheeze… Surely there are others out there who savor playing a part of such a rich story, choose quality over quantity and follow their character’s bio zealously…

I really want to emerse myself in BG again, in the company of true landlopers.

Why not play in single-player mode, and use the TDD mod? That adds quite a few new quests, a bunch of new party NPCs, items, spells, etc.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Yeah, PoR II is out (cough), but we've got IWD II, NWN, and Morrowind on the horizon. :D

So which game is good after SOA/TOB?

Should I try to uninstall TOB and install TDD? Am I still going to enjoy TDD even after I kick the other Bhaalspawns' butts?

What about POR? Is it full of bugs like they say in the magazines?
It will just plain suck after getting your NPC to level 30-50, then start all over again in another game. I will miss my boots of speed!

:(
