Alright, this is just Pissing Me Off

Post by Casius »

Okay, my stronghold is the d'Arnise Keep, I've done all the little quests there, except the last one. I get a messenger saying the Keep's under attack, big deal, that's the last quest, when I get there, I go to Major Domo, he's BUSY. I do everything I can so he ISN'T busy. I travel, I rest, I do tiny quests, he STILL IS BUSY. I can't just go on with the game because if I wait too long, I'll lose my stronghold, which has a lot of items, and NPC's I stocked there. I personally think the "busy" thing shouldn't be in the game at all. The only thing it does is annoy you, but back on topic, does anyone know any tricks to stop this?

Kill him.

Try talking to the captain of your guard, it's not really the domo's business to fight

And change your language on the topic before you feel the wrath of fable.
The waves came crashing in like blindness.
So I just stood and listened.

No, I have to talk to Domo before it begins. I actually did get him unbusy somehow by going to the Hall of the Radiant Heart and asking for their help against Bodhi (In Chapter VI), but oddly after I did that, I couldn't rest! Even when I got finished with the last quest for the keep, I could not rest, I couldn't figure it out, even in an Inn, it just says "You cannot rest at this time", so I had to load my game. Now, I can't get Major Domo unbusy again!

Do you have Windows XP? If so is it only Domo that appears busy or is it other ppl as well?

I'm not sure, but I think someone is trying to talk to you. It's probably Domo. That could stop you from resting.
If it is him, just wait around him, making sure nothing is stopping him.
He might also be waiting for a script to kick in, like an NPC entering the area.
