IMPROVED Kangaxx! Fun!

Post by Littiz »

I happened to download Deeper Shadows of Amn by Kensay Ryu.
(Don't remember the link at the moment)
I've not used all the files in the package, but all the
Kangaxx improvement was GREAT!!!!
Before even talking to him, you meet a Lich and a Archilich!
Since I don't use Cloack Of Mirroring and Prot. From Undead
scrolls (VERY unbalancing and "no-fun" items) this battle
was amazing! Had to survive after some FOUR Abi-Dahlzim!!!!!
And you're supposed to be caught unprepared!!!
Fun!!!!
And Kangaxx himself is wonderful, in his skull form he casts
a bunch of spells, I did everything to hurt him, imagine my
surprise when he ran away and HEALED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was forced to cast Black Blade of Disaster, with Tenser and
Haste I managed to drain some 20 levels, but since he was always
at full health I CTRL-Qed him to see what was happening...
he was level 7, but actually his hit-points were RAISED by the
blade... strange bug I think.
Oh, and he regenerates fast....
So to kill him tried to use a simulacrum, and cast Energy Blades
with my PC and Melf's Meteor with the clone, this worked...
I could have duplicated the ring of ram with Simulacrum, but
it seemed a little cheesy, so I used it only once...

Anyway, try this add-on!

Glad you liked it, just a little collection of some of my work that can be found here:http://groups.yahoo.com/group/IEEAIS/files/ In my folder (Note that some of the other folders have some interesting things in them also).

Deeper Shadows of Amn was going to be an improvement that the scripting group of IEEAIS was going to do for SOA, awhile back. However everyone lost intrest in doing it. So I gathered up all my stuff that did not affect the Dialog.tlk, and put it all in one zip file called DeeperShadows of Amn. This way, people didnt need to use IEEP or anything to install, just unzip to override. Readme tells all the Details. Basically some AI improvements, and a couple additional quests (which were harder to do because I had to use existing Dialog tlk strings).

Anyway, Im glad you liked it, so far I have had little feedback on any of my stuff, except for Megatourist.

It's really a good work, especially the Kangaxx improvement,
and the new AI for dragons.
I use it along with Xyx's Smart Beholders, a nice boost to the game!!!
