SouthEastern part of the map. There is one door where I cannot get by for the life of me. My party: 2Fighters (L10), 2Paladins(L10) 1Rogue, 1 Sorcerer.
I've thrown everything I have at 'em!
Any suggestions?
Dom.

South Eastern edge
I don't think you can go any further south.
Anyhow, you open the door and there are Four regular Freth Drows in there (three bow attacks each!) and a "master" Freth Drow or Freth Drow boss.
Start the battle and from the other end of the room, a Drow priest and two arracats open the door. And he's just raining fire on me. That and the bow attacks, and I'm toast.
My guys have ~ 100 HPs each, but they just get massacred. I've managed to kill the Drow boss and two drows, but can't get to the Priest.
Just nasty! : (

You are talking about the fight against Greyanna. That is indeed a diffucult fight .
Before you speak with Greyanna use any spells you have that raise your AC and your bonus to attack rolls (Shield of Faith, Prayer), also if you have some good one-handed weapons use a shield too. I suggest that you take Faeril with you in this fight to use her divine spells (Flame stike, Searing Light). you can choose to attack the drow as soon as you start talking so that they won't flank you from every site and have them coming all from one direction. When the fight starts use any area effect spell such as lighing bolts and fireballs. If i remember correctly you also find 2 nice scrolls on your way there . A scroll of Fire Storm and a a scroll of Destrucion. If you manage to cast the Fire Storm against the drow it will cause some heavy damage. After that things will be easier.
Good luck on this one.

My suggestion for this fight is: do NOT talk with Greyanna, but choose the option attack drow right away. This gives your party a full pre-fight round of attack and that is avery nice advantage in this fight.
My question to you is: your party is just level 10 at this point? Are you running through the game to finish it as quickly as possible?
When my party came across this particular fight my characters were level 16-17. And I find playing the game and fighting the monsters much more interesting with more than one spellcaster. My party contains 2 paladins, 1 fighter, 2 sorcerrers and a cleric.
The beginning of the game might be a bit more diificult with this party, but once the learn some spells, the spellcasters become very worthy in combat.

Killing the freth drows
I had a lot of trouble myself with this fight and had to give it up and clear the rest of the level before going back there.
Instead of opening the door facing Greyanna, i opened the door to the right and then opened the door to Greyanna, so i confronted her from her left side.
Also i attacked her at once, so she did not get the oppertunity to gather all her fighters.
By this point, you will also have a door on your right, but i was lucky at last and the drows behind it did not open it. So now i had the chance to clear out Greyannas room first. Also i let my paladins stand in the door, blocking it for the drows and the arracats. A lot of fireballs should kill the freth drows. Greyanna was killed by my paladin and thief (bow)
I lost one paladin in the fight, which i raised before opening the door on my right to take out the last two or three freth drows.
My party consists og two paladins, a cleric, a thief and two sorcerers. Notice that the freth drows most likely will aim for elves in you party, since they hate them.
I hope this can help you?

We are all heroes...you and Boo and I, hamsters and rangers everywhere - rejoice!
Nope...don't think so
First floor of the Drow Catacombs.....Southeast corner. Just past the room with the spider in it...you go through two or three more rooms and then come to a corridor. Northern part of the corridor, there are two rooms (side to side...like a big room with a wall in the middle. Then...end of the hallway, the ONLY door you can open to proceed. I didn't get to talk to anyone, thus, leading me to believe that it is not this Greyanna fight. Just a really tough Drow battle.
From exploring (clearing the dark portions of the map) it looks like there are 3-4 more rooms past this one. BUT, I have to get through this before I get to them. The Drows (4) are just standing around a table, with the boss on the end, to the left. Two arracats and a High Priest open the door and make my life hell.
As for the levels....I think I've accomplished everything up to now, and I'm level 10-11 with my guys. I don't know how you got LV 16!
Any other ideas?

Ok...got through it
Thank you for the advice. I just basically threw the kitchen sink at 'em!
And no, it wasn't Greyanna's room, as that's where I am NOW! (Boy, what a level!) Am I at the right level for my party? they're levels 10-11. Is this about right?
Also, any "new" theories on defeating Greyanna would be greatly appreciated!

If it was not Greyanna's Fight then it was the fight against Bergos. And the Bergos Fight is easier that the one you are facing now
An advice against this one. You will have to fight some arraccats too, charm them to help you in the fight against the drow. And use any means possible to charm of few drows if you can,(Dominate person, command, etc) this will make the fight winable if not easy. And don't forget to throw some lightening bolts and fireballs at them.
