A question for Evil players (spoilerish)

Post by Gothmog »

I'm just curious....

Is it possible to stel the statue from Lathander's temple without setting off the alarm?

Not that I have a problem wiping out thos goody-goody knights and clerics, but I went IN there for a bit of thievery....not a slaughter.

Professional pride, and all....
But long ago he went away
And where he dwelleth, none can say.
For into darkness fell his star
In Mordor, where the shadows are.

Yes, go in at night!
Or use protective spells!
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

Hmmmm....I guess it must not have been "night enough" for me, then.....it was before dawn, but there was a bit of sun in the dial.

As far as spells, I has Imp. Invis on, but the alarm went off as soon as I opened the safe.

(You're not thinking of the Weathermistress' amulet, are you? I know you can successfully steal that, but I always get caught setealing from Lathander.)

It is definitely a line of sight thing. You can successfully pull off the heist ->without<- even being hidden if you wait for the guy to go for a wander and get it all done while there is no one in sight. The guard on the center ring will be in sight unless you are very careful in how you position your theif (And the rest of your party). I did it again just to be sure. - Curdis !
