Could you post what are in your opinion the most entertainig lines in the game?
I've just done Nalia's quest after not doing it for a while, and I loved this:
Kheller Ahmson: "I did not tell you this... and I certainly didnt say his records are in his home northwest of the main government building in the government district."
"Should anyone ask, I also wasn't the one who arranged the door to Isaea's estate unbarred"
LMAO

Korgan: Be aware, Mazzy, I've something long, hard and low to the ground ye're free to touch and fondle. Child, no need to glare! 'Twas me axe I were referring to.
Edwin: This is blasphemy! An outrage against nature and order! I must redouble my efforts to cancel the hideous and deforming nature of this Nether scourge!...
Jan Jansen: Greetings, everyone. Sorry, no gifts or souvenirs this time but I'll keep you all in mind the next time I'm gone. Oh, Keldorn: the gods say 'hi' and that you should wash your underwear more thoroughly. Everyone ready? Let's go adventuring.

There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...
What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

I think Jan has the best lines, closely followed by Korgan and Edwin. The best thing about these three is that their spoken lines are pretty funny when you send them to do something. I think TOB added some additional dialogue to each NPC because I hadn't heard the following until I installed TOB:
Jan (when you select him and give him a command): "But I'm allergic ............... Okay, maybe I'm not that allergic".
Edwin (I think he says this in dungeons, and I don't remember it exactly): "Why can't we just hire some other idiots to do this for us?"
Korgan (with a command): "Yeah, yeah: get the bloody dwarf to do it."
In terms of dialogue from incidental characters, I just love the total overacting of the pair of zealots that are planning to burn Viconia. "The DROW DIIIIEEEESS". That's one bit I don't skip over.

Edwin just rocks!!! his dialogue cracks me up. Especially when I had mazzy in the party
"stupid monkey work!!"
"Edwin do this, Edwin do that!! somebody hand this jerk a banana"

At last incapable of further harm
The lewd forefathers of the village sleep.

Personally, I'm a big fan of Jan and Edwin for NPC dialog. Bit I think my favorite (spoken) dialog would have to be Jan, waking up in Hell....
"Ya know...this reminds me of that time.....no wait, this is just like that time....huh. I don't think anything like this has ever happened to me before!"
I spit half a can of soda on my keyboard the first time that one came up!
And it's not SoA, but the "knife-wielding monkeys" bit from Jan's end story rules!

But long ago he went away
And where he dwelleth, none can say.
For into darkness fell his star
In Mordor, where the shadows are.

In Mordor, where the shadows are.

I'm personally a big fan of Irenicus' dialogues. It seems the scriptwriters gave him the lion's share of attention when doing voicing. And I love David Warner as Irenicus' voice. It seems a perfect match.
"The pain will only be passing. You should survive the process."
"They act sooner then we had anticipated. No matter, it will only prove a slight delay."
"Silly girl, you just don't understand what I'm trying to do, do you?"
"You dare to attack me? Do you even realize who you are dealing with?"
And of course, my personal favorite as my sig.

Know this even as you die, ever pathetic, ever fools."

Try a search
This comes up often enough that I thought I'd search out some old threads: but this was the best one I found:

There was a much more extensive one at one stage but knowing this forum as I do it is probably titled "Robe +2 ? (Spoilers)" or something. Anybody remember past last Tuesday? - Curdis !

My fave dialogue is this:
"Look, Boo! Squirrels! I know I saw them! Quick, throw nuts!"~Minsc

I love Viconia
This isn't all that funny on it's own, but taken together, it's cracking me up.

I screwed up royally with my first evil party. I intended to romance Viconia, but like an idiot, I rolled up an elf. (He's not a "real" drow, but he looks and acts like one!) Anyway, of course, Viccy has no interest in him. Jaheira, however doesn't seem to mind.
So I'm to the point in the romance with her where she's in that mood she gets in after you whack Dermin and his cronies....you know the one...and (co-incidentally) I've let my rep creep up to the thouroughly un-evil level of 14. (I didn't know it only had to be 10 until I found that excellent Jaheira romance walkthrough in this fine forum!)
The last three romance dialogs, each time Jaheira finishes her whine and mope session, almost on cue, Viconia chimes in with, "Surface dwellers can be so stupid!"
Oh Viccy, if only you liked elves!

soon, the world will be taken over by bunnies, so be nice to them!
Sailor Moon is the champion of love and justice, so no matter how many great weapons you have, you will still be defeated, because no matter how many times you kill her, she will always come back, so watch it!

Re: Sailor Moon
I only hope the new Star Wars game Bioware is developing for LucasArts has the same kind of character interaction. My guess is that it will, although I'm hard pressed to think it will match such a wonderful range of personality types and dialog as BG2 presents. Korgan's abusive invective is hilarious (and damn vulgar, when you really look at it), while Jan's whimsy is a riot. Minsc is a delight. Edwin's attitude is beautiful, even when his charms don't match it.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
