Bodhi Help .. No Lanthorn

I need help ... I have killed Bodhi for the 2nd time .. but I am missing the item to complete the quest to return to the elves .. I have NO idea where it is .. It was not in the coffin .. and no where do be found .. HELP I AM TOTALLY STUCK

maybee i can help you

have your romance char in the game become a vampire ?

have you KILLED Bohdi with stakes ( place the marker alongside with the Coffin and a Sword will apear ) - kill bohdi with a stake
and ressive a lot of EXP.....

have you tryed to cheat ? ( that is cheating ) (...)

have you talked with elhan about it ?

if your romance have become a vampire.
if male : jaheira , aerie , viconia , nalia.........
if female : anomen.........

take the corpse of your slain Romance and search the halls where you defeated Bohdi ; you will find three Books in a casket

take the books ( ALL ) to the temple of Oghma in the Docks ,
talk too the Monks there , travel to Umar Hills ,
talk with the Book Merchant , go to the Temple Ruins and seek
the Altar of AMUNATOR in the East Corner of the Temple Cattacombs : Place Bohdis heart in the Altar with your Romance Body and the BOOKS ( ALL ) and watch...... she / he will come to life - you will get EXP ( a lot ) and the RYHN LANTORN will apear in your Inventory ..... the rest is up to you........

Funny, I JUST did that quest too. I didn't notice getting the item either, but I assume you automatically get it when you stake Bodhi.

Wow Looks like I have A TON More to do on this quest .. turn somone into a Vamp .. and get some books .. I think I already might have botched it

How Do I go about fixing this ???

If no one was turned into a vampire, you haven't botched the quest, your romance has just not gone far enough yet to activate that option.

Once you stake Bohdi, I think the lantorn just appears in your inventory, you don't have to pick it up. I walked around for 30 minutes looking for it and was carrying it all along.

Where-how do I stake Bodhi??

I am crawling into every Bodhi Stake joint to find out where do I stake Bodhi .. I did not see any coffin ...

Do I just put one stake into the treasure box where I got my Cut-throat Short Sword?
Why would staking Bodhi procedure be diff from staking upstair Vampire coffins? Those just show up like sword attack cursors and I click twice and the deed was done. What's with the Bodhi Stake .. I am going crazy and depressed now

(No I have no romance .. so no npc into vampire happens)

First of all, you don't *need* to be in a romance with an NPC for this quest to be completed. Baarn, if no one from your party was abducted when you met Bodhi at the entrance to the Graveyard District, you can ignore all the stuff about books and abductions.

Second, you need to have Holy Water (can get this from Elhan) and pour it into two fountains throughout the vampire lair. The first is in the northwest room when you enter, the second is the room where you meet Bodhi downstairs.

Finally, once you defeat Bodhi she retreats to her coffin in the little chamber to the northeast of where you first met her. Inside, assuming you have at least one wooden stake in your inventory, you should get the sword icon to stake her. Once you do, the Lanthorn is *automatically added to your inventory* so don't bother looking at her coffin or the surrounding area. The Lanthorn icon looks a little like the Holy Water icon IIRC, so make sure you're not mistaking it for that.
