Can't install BG2

I had BG2 SoA and BG2 ToB and my dear brother decided to try and install TDD..
Instead of unistalling BG2 he just deleted the entire map and now I cant install it again..
When I start the setup program it wishes to uninstall BG2 if I abort nothing happens and if I continues.. The same thing.. Nothing happens...

What can I do?

I've already searched in regedit for bg2 and deleted all the results..?

Is there any way to install the game?

eh?

didn't you just say your brother didn't uninstall it?
why are you trying to install it again?
also some of the stuff you've deleted was more than likely shortcuts.
Don't worry about uninstalling and then re installing. It keeps all you're saved games.

It is true that I said he didnt uninstall it..
However he did delete all the BG2 files.. The entire folder..
There are no files left. And I cant start the game...

You will have to go into the registry and delete all of the BG2 registry entries; it sounds like a few might still be left. I'm not sure what the keys are, but if you PM fable or Buck they might move this thread over to the Technical Support Forum and some of our more knowledgeable friends might be able to tell you which additional registry entries to edit.
