Sell Buy-back Items

i heard that items recharch when u sell them and buy them back.
i tried this with the want of couldkill.
it used to be a want with 10 charches but when i selled it and bought it back it had 50 charches !!
Does this work with al kinds of wants?
Also the want of resurection? that woulkd be nice 50 resurections

or is this a bug?

Wands have a certain amount of maximum charges. Some 50, some even 100, some only 10. If you sell and buy (or steal) them back, then they get the maximum charges they can have, with a wand of cloudkill, that'd be 50.
