turn a mage into a *proper* fighter

Post by Dark Rook »

For a Pure Mage:

ok, we know that tensors transformation makes a warrior outta yer wizard..problem is doh, they still have cacky THACO due to the fact that they have s**te weapon proficiencies and only one attack per round (if you equip an off hand weapon THACO gets worse)
basically they're a bit screwed when fighting well armoured foes

ARE THEY ECKERS LIKE!!!

what ya do is set yer chain contingency and contingency all to tensors transformation. (makes 4) then you set a spell trigger to make another 3.
then you cast similcrium, use the spell trigger and then have the dupe hit ya..thus casting the rest of em

the hit points don`t stack, but the AC and THACO does. if you`d equipped an off hand weapon, used imp haste and Blackblade prior to all this then that ickle sorceror can be an uber powerful Behemoth wreaking death and destructuion with 4 hits per round and an awesome THACO and AC (sadly mages can`t equip belm)
An optimist sees the light, follows it AND IS BLINDED BY IT
A Pessimist sees the light, avoids it AND WANDERS BLINDLY
The realist carries a torch!

Good lord almighty...
Thats a damn good idea, so good that i may have to put tensors on my spell list for my sorc. And yes, i do realize that i can do alot more dmg use'n less spells, but boy wouldn't it be cool to melee a bit in TOB with my solo sorc.
