Does anybody know of a use for the chapel key found in the Windspear Hills dungeon?
Just curious....
Chapel Key? (Sorta Spoiler)

It opens a door that your thief can lockpick - IIRC, the door near which Samia is standing.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...
What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

So it's the same as the key you get off Samia's body? (Or she gives to you if you opt to help her?) Why two keys to the same door?
Seems a bit redundant, no?

Yep, just like the empty potion bottles in BG2, for instance. I believe you were able to use them in TOB, but for BG2 itself they're not needed.Originally posted by Tamerlane
You may as well ditch the key. It has no value what so ever.
Apparently it was part of a quest that got edited out of BG2 at the last moment.
Furthermore there's that one group of villains in the Bridge District as well that doesn't seem to have any purpose, except for some nice XP for killing them.

Or what about the odd Myconid vs Minotaur battle you stumble on in that little room in the sewers 'neath the Copper Coronet?
I've always wondered just what the heck that was!

I believe that Minotaur even had a name, so I suppose it's an Easter Egg of some sort. Even though I have no idea what it would be referring to.Originally posted by Gothmog
