Sorcerer and Imprisonment?

When a sorceror is able to cast lvl9 spells, can he choose imprisonment.
i guess that he should be able to, but i just want to be sure...thanks.
I'll get back to this...

yes, he can, but don't pick it. it makes the game boring.

Well, you're right about it taking away any challenges... You know when you're a munchkin when you use 6 Imprisonments to get rid of a group of goblins. :D
