Romance bug?

I used the CLUA consloe cheat to check my romance progression with Anomen, but it didn't give me a number. it said there was some error (syntax??) or another and in the place of a number it gave ".....)"
or something like that. I've heard that sometimes the romances shut off for a few chapters. I'm in chapter 4. Is this the problem, or did the romance end?

That's probably the case, yes. I've never done the Anomen romance, but sudden parts in the romance can only be triggered if you're resting in the wilderness, or simply walking around in Amn itself (thus not in chapter 4,5 or 7). Very good chance indeed you've stumbled upon such a trigger point in the romance, but I think you'll hear more about this from people who actually done the romance.

Yeah...other people have told me that might happen, but I'm pessimistic about it. This is the first romance I've tried, and I'd hate to think that I botched it

Right now I'm in Spellhold, and Anomen's been knighted, but he hasn't yet gotten word off his father's death. I think I still may have a chance.

As long as you are in chapter 4 or 5, none of the messengers giving you that news are able to reach you, simply because you won't be in Amn itself then. Good chance you'll get that message the moment you leave the Underdark at the end of chapter 5.
