How do you get the necklace from the merchant?? I have done the first harper quest, then killed Galverey. Then Jaheira left my part, and I retrieved her from the harper hall. Afer that, the one harper guy showed up and attacked me with his friends. I smacked him down pretty good. I have checked the fat merchant near the temple of oghma, but he doenst sell me any necklace.

Help please!!

In between dealing with the nasty Galvarey, and before Dermin appears, another Harper friend of Jaheira's appears and although aggressive eventually walks away. Her name was something like "Reviane", from memory.

As far as the Keepsake locket goes, do you maybe have to pick it up before going to the Harper hideout for the first time? Or shortly after, before anything else happens?

The locket is only available if Jaheira's romance is still on(a good way to check if you're still romancing her).IIRC you can purchase the locket at any time

the Merchant is in the docks area and your main character has to talk to the merchant. Jaheira must also be in the party. if you do both, the locket will be offered. Just make sure you carry money.
