Hi, Im stuck in main halls at beginning of the game
Ive got to room where Ive killed some orcs and a wraith guarding a table and chest - in the walkthrough on this site its location #4 at http://www.gamebanshee.com/poolofradian ... nhalls.php
I think theres a secret door somewhere in here that lets me move on to the remainder of the level but I cant find it
can anyone help me progress please

As mentioned in a previous post, you should press right shift to show dice roll. This way you can see if there is a secret door somewhere because the DM starts to roll the dice to determine if you spot that secret wall or not.
But it is my experience that if you pay just a little attention, you can spot these secret walls yourself, since they always have the same structure that differs quite a bit from any normal wall-structure.

You cannot move on from area #4 there. At the first room(area#1) there are two doors. The north one gets you to areas #1-4 the east one takes you to the rest of the map.

Any character can spot a secret door, you just have to search the place you thing there must be a secret door. An easier way is to turn the "show die roll" (right Alt). This way when a character is near a secret door he will automatically start throughing dices to spot it and will not likely find it if he has low search skill but if you search this place the hidden door will be revealed.
