Not sure, but...
I'm not sure, but I think people have given advice on this in another thread. Try doing a search for keywords. I can't give much advice: I had to re-load so many times it was kinda ridiculous.

Demons (whatever variety) aren`t really that difficult.
First off, chaotic commands will protect you from confusion, fear, charm etc.....
Secondly You need +3 weapons to kill em, if you haven`t got one (and that would be surprising) get a mage to make you one via the 4th level spell enchanted weapon.
Thirdly, ya main fighter needs to be improved hasted
Then just pound away

I suppose you speak of the Balor in the Underdark caves.
Just bash him hard, I'd no problem with Carsomyred Keldorn ...
Don't waste spells on him though,he's mostly impervious to magic !
However you should have some protection against his fear/confusion/etc to avoid unpleasant outcomes... .. Chaotic Commands (lvl 5 Cleric spell) is a must !

If it's the balor in the gnome village, pull your guys out of the room where you find him; he can't get through the door. Bombard him will spells (lower resistance, disintegrate, etc.) and beat on him with weapons like the Staff of Rynn +4, Celestial Fury, Flail of Ages +3 and any other high-enchantment items. When your fighters get low on HP, pull back and heal them with potions or your clerics.
Jesus saves! And takes half damage!
If brute force doesn't work, you're not using enough.

thanks everyone, ia ctually beat him right after i posted this. theres a wedge between north end of pit and wall, wedge in there, fighters in front. he cant fit, so he just casts. all u gotta do is bash away.

I just used fire elementals against him, they basically distracted him long enough to whale on him with the Flail of Ages.
I care not for endings or beginnings, but for the eternal and infinite spaces of the universe, and for the endless exploration of eternity, and mysteries which I will find plumbing the infinite depths.
"Do not turn inward to find peace and wisdom, turn outward instead to find liberation from the narrow boundaries of self", quote from Gary Paul Nabhan, paraphrased of course
"When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong" quote from Arthur C. Clarke, thought it was interesting.
Tips on living longer: eat right, exercise, and yes castrate yourself, eunuchs live longer then normal people.
