druids and armour glich

I am starting BG2 again and want to play a druid this time. I cannot wear any armour and cast druid spells if I play a fighter/druid or totemic druid. I am playing v2.0.22956. Thanks

The latest patch is always a good investment. How far have you gotten with this new character? If you have Jaheira in your party what armour can she wear? Is the problem that when you wear armour your druid spells are disabled or is it that you can't wear armour at all and can't cast spells? - Curdis !

I have only just rolled the char. The armour that a druid can wear does not come up shaded in my backpack. I put the armour on and it does not tell me that my spells have become disabled. I try to cast spells and the spell symbol is shaded out. I take the armour off and I can cast again. I will try a patch and let you know. Thankyou.

@Vera, if you want to try a druid, have you thought of an Avenger?

I have posted my Avenger's stats in the Baldurs Gate forum here http://www.gamebanshee.com/forums/showt ... adid=13359 they are a fun class to play, and pretty powerful by ToB

Avengers are still limited in the armour they can wear - red dragon scale and a ring of protection before you install ToB will give a great AC and not hinder spell casting. My Avenger tanks my party
