Thief Stronghold (maybe spoiler)

Post by Leonardo »

I´m playing as a Fighter/Thief (second run through the game) and acquired the Thieves Guild. I´m expected to return every five days or so to pay my dues, lest I lose my guild.
What will happen when I head for Spellhold/Underdark?
Not that the guild is THAT interesting, but I stored my stuff on a container there, and I´m afraid I´ll lose it if I lose control of the guild. Should I store it on my old container from the first run (the stall in front of Gaelan´s Bayle home)?
What about the stuff I sold to the dealer on the first floor? I sold all things "I have no use now but may later" to him because they are easily stealble (is it a real word?). Will he go away if I lose my guild?
"No one expects the Brazilian Inquisitor!"
Abazigal: "Oh my god! They killed Yaga-Shura!"
Sendai: "You bastards!"

AFAIK, you don´t have to visit Renal´s Henchman every 5 days once you go to Spellhold. I don´t know, though, what will happen once you´re back from the Underdark.
Also, if you miss the deadline, it´s possible to buy your guild back (5000 GP, I believe).

You don't have to worry about the Thieves' Guild while in the Underdark. Just make sure you visit them ASAP once you get out.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.
