Oh my god how i hated Khalid, he was such a wimpy bugger.
i only kept him for Jahiera, like most people i think.
I actually laughed when i saw he was dead, but then i got a bi sad for Jahieras sake.
I think that Khalid ran away from every other battle that i was in on BG1

LOL ! Yes...... there was a reason Jaheira had those resist fear spells memorized when you picked the pair up in BG 1 !Originally posted by Invincible121

At the beginning of SoA I had to seriously restrain myself from choosing the one dialogue path about the silly fool finally biting the dust.........
The only reason I didn't is that I was worried Jaheira would leave.

i actully did that path with her, but then she got stroppy and i reloaded because i thought she would leave me, that would have ruined the whole game for me, Jahiera is third only to Minsc and Nalia

So did I. But then, in my recently started BG1 game, when I got to Nashkel, I had Jaheira kill Khalid. After killing Khalid, Jaheira said, "Blast you Khalid! If you die, you'll never hear the end of it!" or something like that.Originally posted by Invincible121

i spose that a good way to get ridof Khalid would be to accidently(on purpose ) get hm turned to stone somehow, and then just 'forget' to make him flesh again.
That way you could get someone better, like Branwen or Viconia and Jahiera would still ge to visit Khalid, hee hee

Man, am I the only one that liked Khalid? I thought it was pretty refreshing to have a fighter that wasn't all that couragous.
I remember fighting Irenicus for the first time and when he was dead I kicked him once more screaming: This one's for you, Khalid.
Then I kicked him once again for Dynaheir of course.
Isn't there anyone who actually liked Khalid?

I never killed him, but the phrase, "whiny git" about sums up my opinion of him, too.Originally posted by wolven86

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

I found Khalid was much more fun when he was equipped with the cursed sword of berseking My characters levelled up pretty quickly since my intention was to get the party I wanted early on in BG1 before following the order of events through the chapters. Equipping that sword on Khalid made the mundane fights a little more interesting
