im trying to edit my f/m (colors and adding innate abilities that give him more of a roleplaying feel i.ie. elf:charm animals/person, cure critical wounds etc) but everytime i save and reload it crashes on the load screen plz help!

You have to be careful with the innate abilities - BG2 doesn't like your PC having too many, and definitely has problems with your PC having some of them (some of which have scripting requirements). When you add an innate, make sure you increment max number of innate spells on the Memorization tab. Generally, the innate spells that are safe to give your PC are ones used by the different classes (ie: Kai) and the Bhaal abilities. Figuring out which ones you can give your PC is a matter of trial and error.
