About Aerie(think that's her name)

I just got this game a couple of weeks ago, and since then I've made about 5 characters and gone part way through the game before I decided to use another class. This time I'm making myself go through it all though with my Half-Orc Fighter that duel-wields axes. But that's not the point of this post, now is it?

My question is, is Aerie(the mage/cleric that you get in the circus quest) worth keeping? She seems pretty weak to me, but I'm not an expert at these things.....yet.

I like her, despite her incessant whining. The mage/cleric combo is pretty sweet. Esp. if you're going to be tanking as a fighter.

well everybody on this forum seems to have a different opinion about Aerie, so its just up to you whether you keep her or not. it also depends on you're alignment.

Aerie is O.K. until you get a better mage. Her main downside is H.P. she goes down more often than any other NPC (except for Jan).

If you are a careful player this is not such a problem but almost ANY area of effect spell kills her outright. - Curdis

Aerie is a spell powerhouse, just give her the robe of vecna.
Remenber to keep her in the rear.

Thanks.... I guess I'll keep Aerie for the time being, and try out Edwin down the line.

Who says Half-Orcs can't get girls? There are some girls that are drawn to dark green skin and muscles...

I kept Aerie in my party all the way through my first time playing the game. I thought she was great. Mage/clerics are very handy.

Well I tried to keep her with me thur the whole game and

she ended up going crazy and pushed me, with my sword drawn, into Imoen causing me to stab my own sister(half). I being a Cavalier could not take revenge. But not to long after this happen.. we(my group) run into a Black Dragon and Aerie started talking about 'if I had my wings ' so the Dragon reached out and ate her. I being a Cavalier tried to help her, but was to late in the end. sad sad indeed.

So you can't have the Viconia romance with a half-orc or what? Or are ye just pullin' me chain?(oooo check out my l33t BG2 speak) I haven't done it yet though... The furthest I've gotten so far was the D'Arnese quest, after I beat it I decided to ditch my Cavalier and with a fighter named Grunk. Stupid Black Isle, thinking that big green things don't deserve to be loved. How would they like it if they were big green things? HUH?!?!?! HOW WOULD THEY LIKE IT?!?!?!?! TELL ME NOW!!!!!!!! GRUNK DESERVES LOVE!!!!!!
