Kilt is fine.
A kilt is manly and provides good ventelation.

No no, it is a dhoti, it provides free room, breathing space and manuverability.
A dhoti, is an indian skirt of males, it is just a long peice of cloth you wrap around your waste, and it is knee lenght.
The tendency is the rural areas is not to wear any underwear underneath a dhoti!

Well at home, I sometimes wear the sarong. It's a Malay cloth wrapped around your waist and is at least below the knee. The design is usually of the batik type.
And yes, just like your dhoti and the kilt, it brings out the manly aura.
