Dermin finds you. That's part of the problem. If you finds you too early, it bugs up the Jaheira romance.

Which makes you wonder, why was it so hard for them to put in a condition which says, if the dawn dialogue hasn't happened yet, then don't let Dermin come.

Which, in turn, begs the next obvious question: with the problem this well known (I'd estimate Jaheira script bugs spawn at least 30% of the total posts in this forum.) why didn't they just put the aforementioned contingency in the patch?

And the answer is: it's hard to wrestle with complex thoughts of that nature when you're a goddamned orangutan.

They'd probably thought that since Jaheira's a druid,she must be closely related to nature.And since monkeys(or orang utans) are the closest resemblance to man in the forests,they got hired to write her romance scripts.(Am I making any sense? Too much rain is a bad thing Image )
