Oh, that is a verifiable riot. :D I especially enjoyed the "All weather Canadian soldier at the ready" image. And that FAQ is a delight:

Q: Are you people serious?
A: Yes.

It made it to my bookmarks.

They obviously haven't yet come to grips with the "she'll be righters' down my way. The Australian Culture will overcome you all! You just need to get more lazy and drink alot. Then not giving a rodents posterior about anything up to and including imminent self non-existence and you'll suddenly wake up saying G'Day. - Curdis !

We resisted your first attempt to take us over when you sent Paul Hogan over here, and we'll stave you off again.

I am more worried that the real reason Aegis took his hiatus was that he is part of Generals Claire and Jenny's insidious plot to conquer the United States. Who knows what Aegis and his cronies are cooking up even now as we speak? Canadians are dangerously unpredicatble; just look at William Shatner's career: Captain Kirk to TJ Hooker to wannabe lounge singer to cooking show host to old fat guy in a corset. It's madness, I tell you, madness!

Hear that song playing on the radio? The one by Kylie Minogue? Two biggest Hollywood stars Russell Crowe & Nicole Kidman. We even make the movies here now. What can I say but G'Day HighLordDave, no worries. - Curdis !

Is that all you've got, Aussie?

Kylie Minogue? Didn't she cover "The Locomotion"--like, 20 years ago? Then she disappeared. So she's now a two hit wonder; when Kylie's got more hits than Milli Vanilli, then I'll consider her a threat to American culture.

Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman? In how many movies do they have Australian accents? No one would even know they're Australian if Mary Hart didn't tell people at the beginning of each segment! So movies are filmed in Australia? They also make movies in Sierra Leone and we don't fear a west African incursion over here.

Chili's has even co-opted your bloomin' onion! You guys got in for a little while back in the 80s when ESPN used to show Australian Rules Football late at night (which made me want a white jacket and fedora), but since Bodyshaping, they dumped you all for Kiana Tom. More than any cultural influence, this type of thing is what I fear out of Australians.

People in West Virginia are like that, too. You tell someone that you live in West Virginia, and they say something like, "Really? I have a sister who lives in Roanoke . . ." and you just want to throttle them. It's not like we don't have our own state . . .

Well, before the 1860s, you didn't. ;)

West Virginia was admitted to the Union as the bastard child of the Civil War on 20 June 1863; that's before: Nevada, Nebraska, Colorado , North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, Alaska, and Hawaii.

When someone form those states buys something with a check and shows their drivers license, I'll bet that not one of them ever had a clerk say, "If you're going to make a fake ID, at least pick a real state."

Never trust those Canadians... :D :D

Saying that, I might be coming over this summer to play aquahockey. I've got a trial for Great Britain Under 19's on Saturday and if I get into the 12 man squad I'm off to get wrecked in Canada! Aegis! Bring the booze... :D :D :D

Well, Nips, if you happen to come to southern Ontario (Around St. Catharines, Niagra Falls, Hamilaton, Burlington, or even Toronto) try and look me up. I'll show ya how to slack off in Canada. In here, it not just a personality trait, it's an art. :D

All their good ones. Which unfortunately is zero for Nicole and one for Russel Crowe (Romper Stomper). Look, movies have been made on the Moon it's the amount and prominence that counts - Matrix anybody?

You mention ESPN and culture in the same sentence? This more than anything else undermines your arguement.

O.K. it is funny but, our Prime Minister far too useless and uncool to say anything like that and have it attributed to him. Still I've got to go and be lazy at someone else now. - Curdis !

Do you guys have your own website of famous Aussies like the Canadians do?

You're still no threat to us as, Aussie!
