@Waverly, Thanks, I don't have cool management suspenders but it's the picture my mother has on her mantlepiece (not the one with the guitar, she burnt that one).

@T': Yes, you have got the right idea, I post both if I ever find them, the only pictures I think there's a chance I might have somewhere here is some from a party, and some from an expedition.

Goretex is a material used in outdoor clothing, it's wind and waterproof and sort of stiff - it makes you look somewhat like a mummy

Like the strat? Its a V. Rare 1979 antiqua(sp). I play the bass a bit too. Do you have a water bed? Almost ALL the bass players I know do (soothes that lower back pain).

@C Elegans - I said almost famous. The hardests things for me have been:
* Not going to many of my friends significant events (because I was on the road or had a booking). My sister had her wedding on the 1st of January and I didn't make it.
* Sustaining the ambition to keep doing it in the face of bad press, bad management, venue disinterest, band break-ups, dud recording deals, law suits.....
* Food on the road
* Realising that to be a rock guitarist did not necessarily involve consumming more drugs, faster than anyone else, all the time.
* My slow recovery from G.A.S. (Gear/guitar acquisition syndrom).
* Not being actually famous

@Curdis: Thanks for the link! I listened to the demo songs, but I really shouldn't comment since the speakers on my little laptop are really lousy - I'll plug in better speakers tomorrow when the husband is not asleep.

From what I could hear though, it sounded like clean, classical rock music. The first song actually reminded me a bit of a Kiwi band I once heard, perhaps there is some "Oceanic" sound just like there is a typical Swedish sound or perhaps it's just a coincidence or perhaps I'm just delusional.

Btw, I still think it sounds much better to be almost famous than actually famous - especially point 4, which seem to be a prerequisite
