Post by nk2 »

Sorry bad spelling or gramma (so it goes when you spend to much time ifront of the computer)

now to the point:
After not having played bg2 for about 6 moths i have decided to give it another go but i cant seem to decide what class or kit to be. I have tried all the usal ones berserker ,blade ,sorseror , cavalier, now i want somthing that is a real challenge and most of all fun to play.

I have fought about going for the kensai as he cant wear armor vill give the game a better challeng or what do you think?

Fighter/mage (elite in combat with weapons + protect spells) or an archer (ultimate ranged char) perhaps?

Crush enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.

Have you tried a thief kit? They seem very weak in combat if you're used to play someone with awesome battleprowess or superior magic capabilities..
But they are none the less fun to play, as you need to change your tactics in almost every fight.

Assassin!
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

I found assasin, monk and kensai (pure) the most chalanging classes to play.

Or try a solo game!
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

Jester was the biggest challenge for me. His only plus was his ability to confuse but every mage in the game can cast confusionspells. Still, I liked the char very much because he was not all powerful. Not great at spells, not great at melee, etc.
