Soloing ?

Post by tzeench »

I decided to try to solo the game, because I never tried it before. So i wantet to know, which class do you think makes most fun in soloing and is not too bad and weak at all. Thanks for your help!

Depends on how challenging you want it to be.

Thief dual/multi helps early since there are a lot of traps in the first dungeon and they're actually more dangerous than most of the monsters.

However, it can be done with a Beastmaster or Wizard Slayer...not easily, but possible.

Pick a class you like and want to learn to play very well, then go with it.

It is very personal choice. Take whatever class you think is interesting. Some classes give more challenges than others.

My personal opinion? Wizard Slayer. I had a lot of fun with it, although it might be frustrating and one mistake can make it impossible to finish the game.

I agree with Nighthawk - thief may make your life a bit easier in the beginning. However, most of the traps in BGII could be avoided if you keep close to the walls. Overall, if you can beat the first dungeon without getting too frustrated with the class, you should do fine with it for the rest of the game.
