exporting BG 1 items into SoA (shameless cheat)

Many people have attempted, with varying degress of success, to hit the pause bar before SoA begins, thereby keeping their items from BG1.

There is a sure way of hanging on to your items......

1.Export you BG character into your SoA file.....

2.Begin a game with a fresh SoA character and copy it into multi player mode.

3. Begin the game in multiplayer and go to the arbitration screen. Once there, click on "modify characters," and bring in your original
BG 1 character....he will have most of the items he was equipped with at the time you exported him.

Alternatively, if you have more than one BG character filed away, simply give the goodies to the one who you don't want to use as your main pc.

lol! Well I'm one of those historians who believes that past, present and future are all intertwined
