I wanna kill saemon haverian!!!
This silly bugger got me in trouble with githyanki, and sicced mercenaries on me in tob....
lets face it, we've all killed chars in the game just for being rude or annoying, how and when can I kill saemon? I do want to visit the smuggler cave and buy the goddies, and sont want to bugger up balthazar. has anyone killed him after he is useless? and when??

They call me Darth...
Darth Gizka!
Muwahahahahhahahha!!!

That's part of the fun. They've created a character that is utterly despicable, yet completely necessary.
hahaha, fun right?
I wouldn't doubt seeing a cameo appearance by his worthless @$$ in the future, either. It's how video game designers relieve stress, ya know? *mumbles something about n00ber*

Right you are, Ken.

I did it like this. At some point in ToB you meet him in the cave in Amkethran. I was using the staff of the magi(along with the cloak of non-detection ) at the time, so he didn't see me when I entered. After a little contemplating I decided he should bleed, so I casted "time stop" and beat him to a pulp with the staff.Originally posted by UserUnfriendly

After that I felt in the mood for a pint or two. After drinking a little, I started chatting with the innkeeper. Turns out he had a key to balthazar's place... what a nice innkeeper
spoilers...
i have killed him twice, but you need to be powerful and fast to do it. first, on the ship when the githyanki attack, you have a brief window to kill him, but very possible, i have odn eit multiple times.
the other time that you can kill him is when he takes you to balthazar. when the monks attack, saemon is still standing there for a little while, you can kill him. just make sur eyou pause and turn all your attention to him in both cases and should feel the satisfaction of running that weasel through.

I would be a serial killer if i didn't have such a strong distaste for manual labor

I'd want to resurrect Saemon. Then I could kill him again. And again. And again.

Tss tss tss, and I got accused of being evil for killing Noober in Slayer mode and getting a warm feeling from it over in the SoA forum. That's pretty unfair because I also don't attack cats in the game.Originally posted by Ode to a Grasshopper

@Nippy, so I am not the only one who like Saemon, i think he is hilarious, his consistent betrayals are part of the fun
Ahhh poor Noober, i take it everyone knows how to get him killed without resorting to losing reputation?

I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.

Basically you dominate him and then move him to the right edge of the map next to the guards; when he turns hostile he will attack the guards and they will kill him (I was the first to discover this IIRC )Originally posted by Phantom Lord
Nope, but my party rejoices if steel is drawn with cold intent.

I agree with Nippy and Mr Sleep
Saemon is a top character in the saga. And y'know he isn’t that bad really, just some bloke trying to make his way in life and earn a respectable dishonest crust.
And he does show a smattering of conscience a couple of times during the game when he helps you out or warns you about things - admittedly he's usually got you into trouble in the first place.
(Must admit I have tried to kill him a couple of times though, but he got away, the lying, conniving, miserable coward of a pirate that he is )

Re: His way of saying wow
BTW I was looking at his stats in creature browser and one of versions of him has Imoen's belt. Obviously not the version you meet just before leaving Brynlaw

...I guess you like him then. Me too. I killed him by accident, when you have to fetch the pirate horn to escape Brynlaw. A stray lightning bolt hit him causing him to turn hostile. I knew I was going to reload, so I carried on the fight with him just to see the outcome. He died quite fast (he was carrying no weapons) giving me 18000xp and no loot. I felt really bad.Originally posted by craig
It's his alignment he is keeping the balance, he is killing of the bigger fish, if he thought you were weak he would help you, he taking your weight of the balanced scales(It's a metaphore)

noober can be killed anytime anywhere, you lose no rep for polymorphing him into squirrel form...hee hee!!!
saemon must die, he is quite funny and you would miss him, but he double crossed the spawn of bhaal, and my inflexible code demand his blood...look what I did to odren or the rebel prince, they stood between me and stuff I wanted so they died with holy avenger ripping out their guts...
too bad you cant curse in this game, that so bites!!!
give saemon an extra set of buttocks, between his shoulder blades!!!

If your character is a Paladin, that isn't exactly the right way to behave. Between you and stuff you wanted? Honourable pursuits indeed...Originally posted by UserUnfriendly
