Tazok gets killed in BG1... But then again, his body doesn't get crushed, so it could be like with Drizzt, you kill him, his body isn't crushed, he is alive in BG2 and says he was only knocked down.

That's just great! It's the original sin of the sequels - throw logic into the carbage bin and revive characters from the first part with some wierd storyline. We see this enough in the movies (à la Aliens 4...) and now we are getting it in games too. #@&%#£@!!!

[Calms down] Well, OK, in BG series there's some logic to support it, since you can revive party members, too.
