VICONIA and TEMPLATES

Post by ILL WILL »

Hi.

Two questions:

1. I'm romancing Viconia. The last thing she said to me was that I could tell her a lot about the surface world. Did the deed twice. I have not yet gone to the underdark. She has not done her normal hourly speak to me thing. Is this normal? Will she speak to me again later like when a certain thing happens, or is something wrong?

2. I want to use the demon template (know what I'm talking about?). But I don't like the icon (fighter male with coal skin and red hair). I pressed the demon icon and got the appearance. Then I tried to use ShadowKeeper (which I do use sparingly, all you purists) to change my appearance back to how I like it (mage male elf icon) but I still look like the fighter male human with coal skin. Basically put, is there anyway to have the template and have the icon the way I want it?

I always ask wierd questions that can't really be answered so I apologize and thank you in advance.

Peace.

@Ill Will, if you really must bump a thread, please wait until it's gotten to the second page, or several days. Looking for replies to something that's pretty esoteric (like the Shadowkeeper question) may take time. It helps to be patient. Sarcasm doesn't win prizes.

As for your Viconia question, you might try doing a search on "romance." You'll probably get a complete breakdown of every step in the romance dialogues, including the codes.

Hi.

Where's sarcasm?

What's a bump?

A bump is exactly what you're doing: "bumping" the thread to the top of the visible list by entering a post without useful content. Please refrain from doing this while the thread's still on the first page. If you don't get an answer after bumping it once, after two or three days, I'd suggest posting your question in the Bioware forums.

No reply to this post is needed. That's a bump, too. ;)

@ILL WILL: "Icon"? Do you mean portrait?

Regarding Viconia's romance: What is her LoveTalk value? (You can see this in ShadowKeeper under the Local Variables tab.)

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Sojo,

I don't have access to SK right now so I'll get back to you on that.

By Icon I mean the little model of the character itself, as opposed to the portrait.

THANKS!

Sure - it's easy to do. Under the Appearance tab, select the desired appearance from the drop-down appearance list.

BTW, you find Viconia's LOVETALK under the Affects tab. Hope this helps!

Thanks again.

The last Viconia and I spoke was not too long ago. She asked me to sleep with her, didn't sound real enthused, so I said no. Then a handmaiden of Lloth came and I clipped her (the handmaiden). Now I'm in chapter 4 and i guess everything's okay.

The thing with the appearance is: after I select the template, I go to the appearance tab and select the appearance I want. But when I go back to the game, it still has the demon guy as my icon. Have you had this problem? I wonder why it works this way. It's almost like the demon icon sits "over top" of the normal appearances.

No, I've never experienced this problem. I wonder if you have some sort of unknown affect applied to your character.
