BG2 Music

Post by Autoriot »

I really enjoyed the music of BG2 and was wondering if anyone knew of a program or way to listen to the music seperate from the game.

There isn't a website I could download from? I'm not sure how much space I am allowed in my box.

I cannot remember the web site...sorry...I was going to post a link to it.

If you want it just e-mail me and I will forward it to you....it should fit in your account.

Or wait a while and the(K) angry man might know where I got it.

Autoriot...the acm converter ,(converts the game music files to wav files), that Weasel sent me worked really fine for me...quality was top notch and I think that the zipped file was no larger than 55k...should easily fit in your mailbox.

I believe that the readme file stated something about "teambg"...but I'd checked "www.teambg.com" for any BG2 files and I can't recall seeing it there...
Still I guess you could check it out....even I may mistakes from time to time.....

Hannwaas which converter did you use before??? Was it GAP(GameA????Player)???? Worst game music player that I have ever tried....music sounded like it came from a Game Boy...really shoddy...

Du...var ligger Rimforsa någonstans???

You can also get the music as MP3 files off Napster.

Yes well there is a slight difference...
The BG2 music that you can currently download from Napster are the tracks from the Music CD....the ones in your music directory that you convert with the acm converter are actual in-game music tracks...and there are quite a few tracks there that I haven't found when using Napster....(e.g - the music that you hear when outside the D'arnise Keep..)

Thanks heaps Weasel Image

And Karembeu I used a music editing program called Finale (not really a converter) but it couldn't open the files.
Rimforsa ligger i Östergötland, några mil söder om Linköping.

I'm interested, uh, again :)

quitchy@yahoo.co.uk

Anyone know what can play the .mus files in the Music directory? Winamp doesn't like them.

Hi, can you send me the program to convert the .mus files in bg2 into something readable by a windows sound player (i.e. windows media player). My email is eayrpad@postmaster.co.uk. Thankyou.
