@Arnault,Quitch,AznA$$assin,Caster and Recoba
I have sent each of you a copy. If I missed anyone, just post and I will send it. If I sent it to you twice, sorry.
Here is a break down on the way to use it.
Using acm-wav100 program.
The steps.
1.Unzip acm-wavc100 in your music file of BG2.
2.Click the ACM-WAVC Exe. to start.
3.Source (the drive you have BG2 in)
4.Baldurs Gate 2
5.Music
6.BC1
7.BC1A1.acm
8.Convert
9.You will recieve an Run-time error'70'
Permission denied....click ok.
10.Look in the file where you have the ACM-WAV100 program. You should have the BC1A1.wav file.
11.Repeat steps 2 thru 9, replacing BC1A1.acm with BC1B1.acm
Next combining.
BC1A1.wav you will notice is only part of the song.
You will need at least two wave files to do this. You should have BC1A1.wav and BC1B1.wav from the previous steps above so I will use them to explain with.
1.Right click on BC1A1.wav and select record.
2.Check in the window and see if you have 1.71 sec showing for length.
3.Click edit and select insert file
4.Look in acm-wavc100 and select BC1B1.wav
5.The length should now be 3.43 sec
Continue this process with each file (BC1) to make the songs complete.

BG2 Music
Anyone know of a converter that will do more than one file at a time? To do all the .acm files with this tool would take forever.

I don't know of any other, the one I have is now at TeamBG for download. I haven't checked lately to see if it has been upgraded. You can try there and see.Originally posted by Quitch:

Time wise..BC1 can be converted in about 15 minutes at the most.
The way I do it is to open all the files in BC1 with the ACM..then come back and start hitting the convert button on each one. Cut them out of the ACM folder and paste them in a new one, then it's just a matter of putting them in the correct order.
I have added the directions into the zip now.
Anymore I send out should have 8 files in it.

Totino's party pizzas rock! All a college kid needs to get by....
Strange...I hated the music. Is it really so much different when you change soundcard that it can actually be enjoyed? I gotta try this.
(MINOR SPOILER: The Underdark battle theme sounded like a whistling hedgehog walking on a piano last time I tried)

All that can go wrong, will, unless it doesn't, but then, it might anyway.
Xaosetic version of Murphy's Law.

I was always rather partial to the theme music, and the Shadow Dragon battles.

with a few exceptions (dragon battles and stuff) I thought the SoA music was pretty average. But I loved the ToB music. I think I want to burn it onto a disc and play it in my car on my way to work and pretend I am a bhaalspawn on my way to slaughter my coworkers. I'll be sure to dual rune hammer and daystar (they are all undead).
