To all aspiring evil parties....spoilers ahead....new cheese

you should hold off on becoming evil, yes, we all love being evil, dont we? until you get to hell and then you can take advantage of the wrath test and get +2 to str!!!!

if you start as neutral, or even goody goody, you can get good planetars as your quest level summons, and they are immune to holy smite!!!!great spell, only problem is its low level, might be liches are immune, but love its skull trap like effect and blindness is jsut gravey....

if you are evil in beginning, you can only get evil planetars, which are vulnerable to holy smite...bad, as this is a killer spell sequenced...

it feels funny to be lawful evil, and just summoned an angelic planetar....bwahahahahaha!!!!

well, after I do some more logistics stuff, plan to summon familair, and see if I can torture it...

:D :D :p :p

me so sick....

Yea, but if you turn yourself evil, then you become vulnerable to Holy Smite, which is equally bad... :(
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

true, but for me, as you may have all suspected by now, the lure of being evil is strong, too siren like to resist....besides, I really wanted teh +2 str bonus for my kensai sorc, but was lawful neutral.

sure I have a greater risk for friendly fire, but the add itional +2 str is so worth it...running about 21 now...

would not want to do this with mage cleric fighter, or any multi with cleric, as your turn undead changes, but for sure you want to do this if fighter mage, as you get superb str bonus, much better than sucky chr and wis, and you keep good planetars....

besides, aerie, is such a sweetie, but she admitted she likes bad boys...

think she went to catholic school???

I'm running an evil party, not for too long anymore, because they're just about to bash the final ToB baddy one last time.

In hell I only got the CON-bonus, the cloak and the certain sword which some say isn't so good. Btw I don't think so because it raises my STR to 25 after a few hits, at which point I switch to a different sword. Since the natural STR of my PC (f/t) is only 12 and I use a girdle or my off-hand sword (a ToB weapon) to get past 20, I wouldn't benefit from the increase.

Btw, I prefer the sound of the fallen planetar and I don't use holy smite because my group would be the first to suffer from it.

But it's a good tip for my soon-to-come dc berserker cleric with grandmastery in staves. If I run him trough BG 1 first he could become a real nice character. :D

Choosing good planning to turn evil later....
This is beyond evilness!!! :D
You already have a kensai/sorceror/beholder with Use Any Item,
why don't you just add some strength points with SK?!?!?!?!
I really don't understand... you don't feel like cheating, maybe?

About the Aerie thing:
I don't follow any religion, yet I suppose I am good
(I try at least! ehehe)
True goodness is a personal, not cultural thing. :)
That's why I like the alignment sistem in BG (though somewhat simple):
the first part comes partly from education and habits, and maybe
religion (being correct or not, honest or not, and the like) the second part shows your real, personal and innate feelings!
