Maybe its Possible to kill Arkanis Gath and other imortal npcs in the game

yeah, maybe this is possible, i managed to kill imoen and kangax in the first form ,
i was trying to kill kangax, so i used a protection from undead scroll for his first form, so it couldnt bother me, the i shapechanged into a mind flayer(i was playing a solo socerer with the xp cap remover) , and with 4 hits i killed him, he was really dead, but the second form hasnt manifested, (probably beacuse the game wasnt configured to this) then i exported my socerer and imported into a new game, and i did the same to imoen, and she got herself killed in 4 hits, so, i think if you manage to give arkanis enough hits to drain all his inteligence he will die, if anyone kill him please post here, cause im not trying to test it now, arkanis will kill my soceror soon.

I think the problem is not in killing him, but in him killing you. IIRC he kills you with his first hit which makes it rather unlikely for you to hit him more than once.

You want to see Arkanis Gath and William Reirrac (the guy who does instant kills in the Radiant Heart if it's not your stronghold)? When they are sent to help you aginst Bodhi, just let the vampires kill them. For me they killed everyone but Drizzt and my party.

no, actually is impossible kill him on the normal way, he is imortal, i already managed to hit him until near death and continue hitting him for 1 min i think , i heard that he had the same belt of imoen, and this one gives everyone imortality

yeah, but this way im telling is just to kill him on shadow thieves guild with him equiped with imoen's belt

Since you have the XP cap removed, try the spell Level Drain. I was fooling in the tutorial for a while and wanted to see if I could kill Belt, who I thought was invincible as well. I lowered his resistances and just kept level-draining him.
I dunno if this works against Arkanis or William tho.
Another guy who is immortal is Rejiek Hidesman, the murderer in the Bridge District. I cheated and made an all-paladin party, all equipped with Carsomyr and boots of speed. After finding all the evidence, I went down to pin him. I was able to corner him in the second floor of his house, started beating on him like a rented mule. Strange enough, he suddenly vanished and reappeared, and he was made immortal!

The INT (or level) draining MAY work because Imoen's Belt and other MINHP1 items protect against death due to 0 HP (they grant 1 HP to the bearer) but they need not protect against death due to 0 INT or Level 0. The problem is elsewhere: you must be a level 20 or so sorcerer in the early stage of the game. Therefore, you must be a solo sorcerer. But in this case, you do not need to kill Renal Bloodscalp (you can get your Boots of Speed in the Planar Prison) or any other protected character. When we want to kill Renal Bloodscalp then we want his Boots of Speed for somebody in our party. That's the only reason.
Nevertheless, the question should be investigated for academic purposes. Is it possible to kill a protected monster this way? Which protected monsters can be killed this way? Solo sorcerers, help us!

It IS possible to kill Arkanis with mindflayer (INT drain), i just did it! Why didnt i think of this?
He gives you the same armor you get from the windspear hills quest!

well, heheh this is for the player to think, the black isle shouldnt have worried about this, if he alies with shadow thives and kill , he will be stuck on the game, but if you are a good aligned hero, and wish to finish the thievery in the city do this! there are some very good itens in the shadow thives guild

well , i tested and killed him, its not so dificult, if you use death ward he cant kill you in 1 blow
