Jaheira Romance

I can't get it started. I did the Renfeld/Xzar quest. All the guides speak of some bandits you have to meet first, but I have yet to do that. Where are they? And the necklace or whatever you could buy for Jaheira, where is that merchant? I've scoured the area around the Temple of Oghma but I have only found one merchant and he didn't have anything.

Did you get the "Where to now fearless leader?" when first entering the Copper Coronet? What race do you play?

That is how the romance starts. Do a search on Jaheira and I'm sure you'll find all the info you need. Have you used ShadowKeeper or CLUAConsole to check if the Romance is active?

The Renfeld/Xzar quest is parts of her personal quest BTW and not the romance. The bandits will attack you only after a while - you should get plenty of dialogues before that.

If you can't find the solution to your problem in older threads, don't be afraid to come back - there are lots of people here with more knowledge of the Jaheria romance than I have.

Nice to see another fellow Swede, BTW. Welcome to the board!
