Mazzy and Gorf

Keep pummelling away at this ugly bugger in the Copper Coroner Pit and all he does is become unconsciousm then get up again, I hit him again, down he goes, and on and on....
Have I missed something. Drugged him first - no difference.
It's beginning to annoy me now.
Anybody else have this problem?

Try equipping a weapon in Mazzy's hand.

IIRC, one should be in her inventory.

I've gotten a short sword on the ground as well. Don't forget to use her "paladin skills". You could also have your mage throw Spirit Armor on her if you have difficulties in general.

Another problem

I talked to Gorf outside CC, where he KOed 4 peasants. He said to meet him at the pit, but I talked to Surly and he has no dialog options other than the standard about dog-fighting. The quest is in my journal and is probably lost by now, since several days had already passed. Did I do things right?
