Fallen Paladin (Spoiler)
Fallen Paladin (Spoiler)
Does anyone know if there is a way to regain fallen paladin status, I am trying to get the best character exported and if I "sacrifice" myself in hell for Mince then I lose stats and if I don't I lose my paladin status. I could export my character before this but then I miss out on the bonus's from the tears ( +1 wis would come in useful later as I would get more priest spells wouldn't I ). My dexterity is 19 and my wisdom is 20, so its either that or fallen paladin and dex19 wis21, or paladin and dex18 wis 21. Any suggestions?

Without editing or "cheating" your character, a fallen Paladin will not be able to become a Paladin once again....(correct me someone if I'm wrong)...

Never tried "cheating" before seems rather against the spirit of the thing, having said that it is tempting but I think it'd probably mean less enjoyment of BG3 when it eventually comes around.

Yes, you can redeem your "Fallen Paladin" - at least early in the game. I imported my BG1 Paladin. He fell early in Chapter 2, when I wasn't paying attention. (He inadvertently killed the boy's mother in the circus tent, among other transgressions , reducing his Rep to 6) He completed Korgan's quest and then went to the Temple District for the first time. I noticed his changed status when no one would speak to him on his first visit to the Most Noble Order of the Radiant Heart. I consulted these boards and despaired of ever redeeming his status but I decided to press on. He made enough donations to raise his Rep to 14, revisited the Order, and set out on Sir Ryan's quest. Alas he completed the quest but remained a "Fallen Paladin". Figuring that he would have to do more grunt work for the Order to achieve redemption, he set out for Windspear Hills. Of course, he was in trouble with the Order for unwittingly killing his brethren, but pressed on like any good Paladin. He completed Garen's quest, leaving the battle with Firkraag to another day. To my great relief his redemption was complete! Needless to say, I am keeping a close eye on his status. I don't want to find out if he can redeem himself again!
