Need advice.
How do I handle healing with my fighter/mage/thief if I plan to solo the game?

Potions: there´s more than enough for a party of 6, I bet it is in excess for a soloer

Regeneration itens: Mainly Gaxx Ring
"No one expects the Brazilian Inquisitor!"
Abazigal: "Oh my god! They killed Yaga-Shura!"
Sendai: "You bastards!"

Like Leonardo said, there are plenty of healing potions to be found. Also, the Rod of Resurrection can be used to restore full Hit Points to your character.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

I soloed a f/m/t pnce throug SoA&ToB.
AC isn't realy a big problem, you have the robe of Vecna (AC5) and if you want a lower AC wear the gaunlets of AC3.

I had a low Charisma, because I knew that the ring of human influence could boost it up when needed.

For weapons i choose dualwielding, Celestial Fury and Flail of Ages in SoA.

Another hint is to become skilled in laying traps!
Also remeber that backstabbing is a lot of fun!!!!

Oyeah, one other thing, Remove the exp-cap, or else you can't level up after chapter 4!

Goodluck!

For a extra cheesy experience:

Remember to buy as many high level scroll and use them via project image.

Wand of monster summoning and cloudkill.

Belt that raise strength from Ribald

Twisted rune have a powerful artifact awaiting for you. Make infinite backstabs potion-free IIRC.

If you have TOB:

With UAI, you pretty much can use any equipment for their special abilities.

With greater whirlwind and holy avenger, it is just too nice a melee combo.

Traps are just too cool to miss out, especially the time stop trap. However, there is a certain dude that is immune to it but I doubt you will try to solo him! :D

for even more hacked fun, try imposing the conjuror kit via sk, you get more spells, as per the specialty school rule, and if you feel evil, clua in edwins amulet, usable after UIA....you now have edwin level spell caster in you....

or impose the assassin kit, automatically get many poison weapons..such a killer ability...try posioned melf minute meteors for real fun...backstab with poisoned staff of ram in mislead....activate greater whirlwind, and take down dragons in a single round...

best of all, get the safe tob xp cap remover, and by the time you get to chapter 6, you are a god...appropriate to your divine heritage....
They call me Darth...

There are "two dudes and a lady" (sounds like a bad movie) immune to timestop(trap) and their doable when soloing a f/m/t.

...especially if you use the "Twisted Rune Artifact" to initiate invisibility then go into Hide in Shadows once you are out of the enemies' sight. If you plan to back stab don't forget to use the appropriate weapon --- of course. ;)

...forgot to mention that there is an ioun stone somewhere that gives you regeneration, although I'm not aware if it stacks up with the Gaxx Ring.

Soloing gives you loads of money, and there're temples everywhere - buy your way out of your wounds. It's easy and you don't have all that space to carry potions when soloing.

-Syl.

PS: @User: I still don't see how you find the game fun to play with those ridiculously overpowered characters.

...but there are places where these that you mentioned are not accessible. Which means that you always have to stack up on potions and use them only when necessary (which I guess is almost always true)...

...btw, this is my 1000th post. This is the place where it all began and I came "home" to visit, though I've been lurking here now and then to get more insights about the game (which I've been playing for the nth time.)

@GB Thanks! :)

Tenser's Transformation. The bonus Hit Points heal damage first.

For healing you only need potions. All the potion only vendors are pickpocketable so drink a potion, use gloves of pickpocketing and rob them blind in safety. Its alot easier if you have TOB installed so can buy a potion case from Watchers keep vendors. Most of the time you'll be easily able to make due with potions you get from loot, and once you get the ring of gax you'll hardly ever use those. Other than that i'd just avoid damage with stone skin, protection from magical weapons or just use summons (mord sword) and clone spells to take the beating for you. In TOB its even easier cause you can get and upgrade a weapon that'll heal ya(as if you actually needed the extra help....)

Healing has never been a problem for my F/M/T chars - between stoneskin, mislead and spell imm. divination, they don't seem to get hit much. But when you are getting whacked, nothing beats a hit from the old Rod of Resurrection. Full heal, and very fast (so you can use it at the last second). There are 2 of them (Ribald and Sewer mage), and you can just sell and repurchase (or steal) them to recharge. Don't leave home without it. Another fun option is the cloak of the sewers - just change into a troll and sit around for a few minutes. It's basically a slow heal 1/day.

Use the rod of resurection and potions for infight healing.
And wear a regeneration item, and then rest for afterfight healing!
