Shadowkeeper character import?

Post by Hex92 »

Last night I decided to finally go forward to chapter 3. Since I am playing evil this time I wanted to take Bodhi's offer. When I went to the graveyard she wasn't there. So I went back to some previous saves and determined that it must be a time thing (as in I wasted too much before going). To be able to do Bodhi's quest I would have to go back ~15 days (during which I did Kangaxx, druid grove, twisted rune, guarded compound, trademeet, etc.)

I am playing a multiplayer game with 2 PCs. Is there someway I can export my party at its present time/location and then import them to day 46 so I can do the Bodhi thing and NOT have to repeat all of the other quests?
Or does anyone know how to change the current day through Shadowmaster?

Maybe it is stupid what i am going to say but did you go there at night. She won't be around at day time or anything in that direction.

I didn't think this event was time dependant. It was at night that you went to look for her, wasn't it?
Then darkness took me, and I strayed out of thought and time

Oh yeah it was definitely at night. I even tried going at different times-just after dark, around midnight, 3 am . I know she should be right inside the graveyard, and she is not there.

I spent a long time doing sub-quests in Ch 2 - it was day 30+ when I first visited the graveyard at night. The little kid missing his teddy was at the gate and Bohdi just inside. I had heaps in gold (I imagine you have too by day 46). It didn't seem to be dependent on number of days.

You could export your characters and import them to your multiplayer save from day 15. The quests would not show as being completed but you'd have all the goodies and XP from doing them - if they were like twisted rune and druid grove they are not plot critical - no need to do them again. Image

I recall that when I was contacted by Bodhi's servant (with the invitation to go meet with Bodhi) she rather heavily implied that I must act quickly, and not waste time going to see her. Maybe this is part of the timing factor.

Bohdi's messenger contacted me at least 15 days before I got to the graveyard. It just doesn't make sense to have Bohdi being time dependent - it would mess up the plot if the Shadow Thieves were as well!

Most other things don't seem to be time dependent. When Mae'Var gave me his first task, he put a 24 hour limit on it. It was some time before I got back to him - All he said was "So you've returned at last. I'll have to cancel the order to kill you" or somesuch. Image

Did you do the thief stronghold quest (Mae'var?). Doing that quest closes the ability to meet with Bohdi.

I don't know about time, sometimes it just seems like she disappears though.

Well now I can't find the guy in the Slums for the dawn ring quest either. Last game he was on the North end just south of the exit. So maybe I have a bigger problem. Thats 2 people I am to meet after dark and they aren't around.

Now I don't know what to do.....
