in the underdark if you fight the imprisoned mage, that's where I got mine. Other than that, I think the Twisted Rune Lich has got one, but I can't remember.

Can't ya buy one at Ribuld's after you come from Underdark? I'm pretty sure it was in his secret stash.

twisted rune?

@Frogus:

Where can i find the twisted rune and the Lich of the twisted Rune? The guy at the Umar Hills that wants to have the Dragons Blood tells me something about the twisted Rune after i told him i wouldn't get it.

I really would like to know what and where The Twisted Rune is.

thanks,

Tom

get a rogue stone(you can get one from gorch the guy in maevars guildhall in harbor district, or find one during your games...) then use find traps and go to the bridge district, there is a house where the door is trapped(there are two right next to each other, it is the one on the right) disable the trap and pick the lock, open the door, and enter the blackness...and if you have the rogue stone the game autosaves and teleports you to the twisted rune

the door is on the lower half of the district...(where the man in red is if you have done the tirdir buried alive quest you know whom i'm talking about...)

There are at least 6 in SoA (I have 5 in my Gem Bag and already used one in the Twisted Rune)

The only one I remember right now was in Firkaarg´s dungeon (I think in the room Tazok was)
"No one expects the Brazilian Inquisitor!"
Abazigal: "Oh my god! They killed Yaga-Shura!"
Sendai: "You bastards!"

i know one of the slaver lords if you installed balderdash patch has a rogue stone that has the caption "i am in the bridge district of athlankah...what are you trying to do to me?"

this is the "broken link" between the two subplots, and for role palying I always do twisted rune after slaver lords. besides, I am not sure this rogue stone is a legit caspenar upgrade ingrediant....
They call me Darth...

got the stone

I found the stone (i just purchased it back from the adventurers store).

I went in and killed everybody there. But when i came in and the dialoque started, the lich asked me why i came there and i only could answer that it was a accident and that i was giong to kill him. I have the feeling that i missed the beginning of the quest where somebody tells me to get a rogue stone and fight the lich. The Lich says something about kangax (i forgot what) and nothing appears in my quest log.

What i'm wondering is if the twisted rune is a part of a quest that i missed.

thanks,

Tom

The Twisted Rune is part of a quest that was removed from the game. You can download the Restored Slave Lord & Twisted Rune Quest Fix from Baldurdash to restore it.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

All those fixes, are they implemented in ToB or do you have to install them when you have ToB as well?

No, it's not implemented in ToB - go to the Baldurdash ToB Bugfixes page if you want to install it and you have ToB.
