Lost all items that Minsc was carrying?

Post by StarBright »

I just defeated Firkraag with a lot of hard work.

It took me a lot of time to get past the greater wolfweres that gaurd the passage.

So now I finally killed firkraag, but minsc died (cus he was slashing up frontline all the time with dragonshield, dragonhelm and dragonsword). But no trouble I just ressurect with aerie, so I just did. But now I can't find my items anywhere in the lair of firkraag!

What is this, am I not looking good enough or something, should I leave area and come back when body of dragon is gone, what should I do.

I have the shadowkeep editor/trainer and I suppose I could use that but I really don't want to, I just want my items back.

Can someone help me with this?

All games from the Baldur's Gate series are programmed to let items, not stored in a container (chests, closets...) disappear after a certain period of time (perhaps a day or 2). If it hasn't got anything to do with this, I'd suggest resting inside Firkraag's Lair (this will only take 8 hours; enough for Firkraag's body to decompose but still have your items lying somewhere around).

Go back into the lair, when you are there press the tab button on your keyboard, that will highlight all items and open-able containers.
His stuff might be somewhere you can't see, this wll help i think.

@Invincible121: good call, but I thought that was a ToB-only feature so it will only work if you have ToB installed.

Thanks for the help.

I didn't tried the TAB thing, but I will remember it for next time.

I just by luck found my items again, they were in shadow of a pilar.

But thanks everyone who helped.
