hello all

i think its time for a nother BUMP!!!!!! :D :D

so after 4 weeks of hangovers and hard work on our carnaval parade wagon the time has come for my to visit Gamebanshee again :D

i also played BG2 again today, i went on with my assassin/mage, which is now only an mage but i only need 1 more lvl and then the party can get started :D :D

i have a party with Anomen, Keldorn, Minsc, Aerie and Jan
and a 7th men Telk

i saw him first in the sewers and right now i'm doing the unseeying eye queest and this guy followed me everywhere and fought on my sight.
strange aint?
btw when he dies i do get some exp. but i like the fellow so when he did i reloaded :D

Not dead, just migrated (I'm mostly in SYM these days). Image
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

some things have just been beaten to death, but the shadow mages live on.
i made a good shadow mage in arcanum. highest skill level in force magic, conveyance, and summoning. as well as a master in lockpicking and pickpocketing.
I would be a serial killer if i didn't have such a strong distaste for manual labor

@Nael, I played Arcanum but didn't really spend too much time on it. IMO it was a good concept poorly executed. Once IWDII and NWN come out there'll be plenty of new Shadow Mage techniques for me to develop though. Image

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

*bump*
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

@Sojourner, no bumping this thread, please. It's huge. It's gotten a lot of posts. If it's time has come to pass into oblivion (at least for a while), let it do so. A lot of people have other concerns, and this thread just may have been done (for the time being) to death.

If you have something important to put up, by all means, go for it. Otherwise, let's allow it to take up resident status in the undead portion of the category. It will make a fine and dignified Lich. ;)
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

I agree with fable....don't bump the topic anymore.....

BTW... :D
I started a new game because these days i'm home with the flu....so my party is:
Althya (me: warrior/assassin...lot of damage with high backstabb....long live shadowkeeper)
Korgan (i cannot play without him)
Mazzy (the first time i really take her for a long time)
Jaheira (romance+druid spells....)
Edwin (same as Korgan...)

This is the basic party....in the beginning i had Anomen.....died forever...i don't restart when a character permanently dies....
Then i took Valygar.....i had good projects with this guy....but the trolls in Nalia's keep killed him permanently....So now i have paladin Keldorn

This is a figthing party, i know....but after a lot of spellcasting parties in the past i wanted to try a new experience....

In the end.....this game is really GREAT!!! I mean, i've played it so many times.....but every time is different from the one before.....i really love this game.....

PS: if there are new guild followers, don't forget to rate me 5 stars.... :p

My party is REALLY strong!!!
I'm in ToB now....i'll let you know more when i'll finish the game.....
Anyway, Mazzy is really great with the Tunigan Bow.....
And my fighter/assassin, now with x7 backstabb deals 120 damage to everyone with celestial fury.....and this is the medium damage..... :D

hi everyone, i have just received word that i have been allowed to join! so on to strategies n stuff: anyone got any for a sorceror? i.e what speels i should choose etc. currently my most used are chromatic orb, protection from normal weapons, magic missle, contingency, tensers trans, and spirit armor.
inspired by this thread i recently started an assasin/mage, and he is doing pretty well soloing. just got my thief skills back yesterday (i dualed at lvl 10, since i wanted 100 in both lock picking and trap finding, the most useful skills) and i just mutilated the shade lord and his dungeon (except the dragon) in about three minutes :)

Get Melf's Minute Meteors - an assassin/mage can poison those. ;) :D

a spy from the goody goody "our power is granted by the gods, you can't stand a chance" posse, also known as the previously mentioned league of divinity, or the other ms. goody-two-shoes the tree huggers...

cast prot. from evocation and then cast cloudkill in the smack of the melee types, you're immune and can simply run around the area when they're chasing you, or turn invis after that...

Heh, good to see the old thread still has some life left in it. Image It's been a while since I last heard anything from the LoD (League of Divinity). They've been defunct since the Pope left. Kind of a shame though (where's the fun in having a guild without someone to bicker with?). Image

that was the problem right from the start, we are too good... no-one can match us so they can't bicker with us long 'cause they'll lose :D :p :D :p :D

well, some of the best spam was when the mages and thieves were still seperate.

lots of guilds came and went, only the shadow mages remain. there attempts at fighter ones, i think one was called the sword saints or somethign like that. a monk one was tried, the nature one for druids and ranger.

but only the shadow mages with their pet orca live on!
