raising stats in bg2?!?

just started playing bg2 (finished bg1 few times) and wondering if it is posible to permanetly raise your stats like in bg1 (with tomes)?

Nope no such tomes.
Only belts and stuff.

But you could just bring in your buffed up Character. And go from there. You will all ready have an advantage. And do not forget to bring in your gear as well.

Only in Watcher's Keep but you won't be able to get that far until you get really high level.

In WK you can get a permantent stat raise but not with the old fashion way(tomes) just wait until you get there.
