i did a lot of quests in trademeet ( lol actually all of them) and i think 2 or 3 quests give you a reputation boost. well, mine finally got to the point of 19 reputation. i have Korgan in my party and now he wans to leave often. how do i lower my reputation just 1.

i heard from a friend that if you kill a peasant in a house at night that your reputation will just go down 1 but i already tried that and my rep went down 10!!! i've tried killing people at night when there is no one else around and i've tried killing people in the day time.

is there anyway of lowering your rep just 1 or 2 and not 10 everytime?

You can have Viconia join your party, each time you do that your reputation drops down by 2 points.

Go to the church at the west side of trademeet to bump it up to 17. The amount you need to donate is listed at the back of your manual.

spoiler

after the underdark, ie in chapter 4 and onwards, the slayer transforming will reduce your reputation by 2 each time. If you haven't been to chapter 4, then you can try a few quests that allows you to go the evil way like the druid grove quest and slaver.

Hope that helps

the rep drop for killing someone depends on ur current rep. as long as your rep is >12 it will always go down to 9 (except for 20 will b 10). 9 is not that bad, maybe donate a little for 10-11, but u shouldnt have a rep higher than 12 with korgan or any evil members, they get annoyed. and if i am not mistaken, in trademeet u actually get 4 points of rep ;) .

(i have a party with minsc, viconia, korgan and the rest neutral. now thats hard to keep balanced...)

Why kill anybody? Just find someone in an out-of-the-way area (like the Umar Hills), and pickpocket 'em. Instant loss of 2 rep points once you fail. :)

yeah, killing peasants is a bad roleplaying no-no...that's just evil man! (no comment please user ;) ) Also, even if you are playing evil, killing a peasant in an urban district can bring all hell down on you...
