when i take yoshi to spellhold there is no way to get back to Atlaka (spelling?) for a very long time. when you take yoshi into spellhold he betrays you and all that crap about the quest.

my question is once yoshi is dead where am i going to get another theif? is Imoen just around the corner or something? cause i don't want to be walking around without a theif to open locked doors and the sort. please help.

It works out.....just keep playing. You would have had to clear a party slot for Imoen very soon anyway. :D

so when i kill yoshi, there won't be any traps and locks to pick for thiefs?

i'll get Imoen quickly after yoshi dies?

You will get Imoen well before you need to pick any locks or detect any traps. :D

As usual, BS is being cryptic. I suggest you just play it out and see what happens, it's more fun that way. If you really want to know the long and short of it, go to the Gamebanshee BG2 section.

Put it this way: Bioware would never leave you in a situation where through no fault of your own, you were without a key component of your party (thief skills). When you need those skills, they will be provided. :D
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

And when you do not have a thief do not forget that you could always bash the doors open. It works well. ;)
